Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 12, 2026
Â
SifrinApps ("we," "us," or "our") built OnePress (the "App") to help you plan, log, and track your strength training and fitness activity. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it's used, and the choices you have. We wrote it to describe exactly what OnePress does — not a generic template — because the App is built to keep your data on your own device and in your own iCloud account rather than on any server we operate.
Â
By using OnePress, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
The short version
-
OnePress does not have user accounts, logins, or a company server. There is nothing for us to log in to and nothing of yours sitting on our infrastructure.
-
Your workout data, routines, and profile information are stored on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your own private iCloud account — the same way Notes or Reminders sync across your devices. We cannot see, access, or download this data.
-
OnePress can read and write data in Apple Health if you allow it, so your workouts and estimated calories can appear alongside your other health data.
-
We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking software of any kind, and we do not sell or share your information with third parties.
Â
The sections below go into more detail.
Â
Information the App Collects
Â
Information you provide directly
Â
When you use OnePress, you may choose to enter:
-
Profile information: name, height, weight, age, sex, experience level, a preferred display language, and an optional profile photo.
-
Workout data: the routines you build, the exercises, sets, weights, and reps you log, workout duration, and workout history.
-
Body measurements: weight and body fat percentage entries you log over time.
-
Activity logs: standalone cardio/sport activities you log (activity type, duration, and intensity).
Â
All of these fields are optional except what's needed for the App's core logging functions to work (for example, logging a set requires a weight and rep count). You are never required to enter your real name, photo, or any information you'd rather leave blank.
Â
Information from Apple Health (HealthKit)
If you grant permission, OnePress:
-
Reads workout data from Apple Health, to personalize workout recommendations and avoid creating duplicate entries.
-
Writes your completed strength-training workouts to Apple Health, including an estimated calorie burn based on your logged workout duration and the body weight you've entered in the App.
Â
OnePress only requests the specific HealthKit permissions above. You control this access at all times through iOS Settings, and you can revoke it at any time (see "Your Choices" below).
Information we automatically collect
Â
OnePress does not use analytics software, advertising identifiers, cookies, or any third-party tracking. We do not automatically collect your location, browsing activity, device advertising ID, or usage analytics. We do not know how many people use OnePress, how often, or what they do in it — the App simply doesn't report any of that back to us.
Â
Information we do not collect
Â
OnePress has no account system, so we never collect an email address, password, or any sign-in credential. We do not collect payment information (OnePress has no in-app purchases at this time). We do not collect government ID numbers or any other identity document.
Â
How Your Information Is Stored
OnePress stores your data in two places, both of which are yours, not ours:
-
On your device, in the App's local database.
-
In your own private iCloud account, if you have iCloud enabled on your device. OnePress uses Apple's CloudKit and iCloud key-value storage to keep your data in sync across your own devices signed into the same Apple ID (for example, syncing a workout logged on your iPhone to your iPad). This sync happens through Apple's iCloud infrastructure, governed by Apple's own privacy and security practices — the data passes through Apple's servers into your private iCloud storage, never to a server operated by SifrinApps.
Â
We do not operate a backend server for OnePress, and we do not have a copy of your data. If you contact us for support, we cannot look up your workout history, because we have no access to it.
Â
If you turn off iCloud for OnePress (or aren't signed into iCloud at all), the App continues to work fully offline, storing data only on that one device.
Â
How We Use Information
Â
Whatever information you provide is used solely to operate the App's own features for you:
-
Displaying your routines, workout history, and progress charts.
-
Calculating derived statistics like estimated one-rep max, training volume, XP, and achievements — all computed on your device from your own logged data.
-
Estimating calories burned, using the body weight you've entered and standard MET-based formulas.
-
Syncing your data across your own devices via iCloud, and to Apple Health, when you've enabled those features.
-
Displaying the App in your preferred language.
We do not use your information for advertising, do not build a profile of you, and do not use it to train any AI or machine learning model.
Â
Sharing of Information
Â
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own purposes. The only place your information travels outside your device is:
-
Apple iCloud — to sync your data across your own devices, under your own Apple ID and subject to Apple's privacy policy.
-
Apple Health — only the specific workout and calorie data described above, and only if you grant permission.
OnePress does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software that would receive your data.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, but since we do not hold your data on any server, there is generally nothing on our end to disclose — your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud account.
Â
Your Choices
Â
You're in control of your information at every point:
-
Editing or deleting your data: You can edit or delete any routine, workout, measurement, or profile field directly within the App at any time.
-
Deleting all your data: Deleting the App from your device removes the local copy. To also remove your synced copy, delete OnePress's data from iCloud via your device's Settings app (Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage, or Settings > Apps > OnePress, depending on your iOS version) or contact us and we'll walk you through it.
-
Revoking Health access: You can review or revoke OnePress's access to Apple Health at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > OnePress.
-
Turning off iCloud sync: You can disable iCloud for OnePress in Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud, and the App will continue to work using only local, on-device storage.
Â
Because we don't hold a copy of your data ourselves, most privacy requests (access, correction, deletion, export) are things you can already do yourself, instantly, from within the App or your device's Settings — without waiting on us.
Children's Privacy
OnePress is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information (for example, through a support request), please contact us and we will address it.
Â
Data Retention
Â
Your information is retained on your device and in your iCloud account for as long as you keep the App installed and choose to keep that data. We have no independent copy and therefore no independent retention period — when you delete data in the App or delete the App itself, that data is removed from the places it was stored.
International Users
Â
If you use OnePress outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored via Apple's iCloud infrastructure, which may be located in a different country than your own. This processing is governed by Apple's own privacy policy and data protection commitments as an iCloud service provider.
Security
Â
OnePress relies on the security protections built into iOS, iCloud, and CloudKit, including Apple's encryption of data in transit and at rest. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but because your data is not additionally routed through or stored on a server we operate, your exposure is limited to your own device and Apple's infrastructure and their respective security practices.
Changes to This Policy
Â
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if the App adds a new feature that changes what information it handles. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. If a future change is significant, we'll aim to make that clear at the top of this page.
